Georgian wine producer Teliani Valley is planning to raise product prices in export markets. The company’s Commercial Director, Irakli Bokuchava, announced this in an interview with BM.GE.

According to him, the price adjustment is driven by overall market conditions and rising costs in various countries.

“As you know, prices have increased throughout the year, and we also need to adjust accordingly… Depending on the country, product prices will rise by roughly 5%,” he said.

Currently, Teliani Valley exports wine to 30 countries, with export sales accounting for around 90% of total revenue, while the remaining 10% is generated from the domestic market. The company’s wines retail internationally for an average of around €10, though restaurant prices vary by country and venue.

As for the Georgian market, Bokuchava does not rule out local price adjustments either:

“During the New Year sales season, we are keeping the old prices, but afterwards, we may also review pricing for the Georgian market,” he noted.
