The Anaklia Development Consortium has postponed an arbitration dispute with the government.
As Levan Akhvlediani, director of Consortium told BM.GE, delay reason is the crisis that the country has faced due to the pandemic.
“We are ready to start a legal dispute, all documents are prepared. We were going to start the dispute from March 23, but we decided to postpone our dispute plan for a while due to the crisis in the country. We think now it is not the time for this and the country has another challenge. We will start this dispute at the right time”, said Levan Akhvlediani.
"We have enough time for launching the dispute. As I am informed by our lawyers, under Georgian law we can start this dispute within 3 years, but we will wait until this pandemic crisis expires and the economic situation in the country improves slightly, we will return to this issue." , - said General Director.
