The Budget and Finance Committee, backed by NDI initiated the online public webinar on State Budget 2022, Overview.
The Chair of the Committee, Irakli Kovzanadze informed the parties concerned about the main parameters of the budget and dwelt on the budgetary process, starting with the adoption of the so-called BDD document in the Parliament in May and is accomplished with the approval of the State Budget.
He emphasized the budget parameters and macro-economic scenario for 2022.
The attendees discussed the macro-economic indices of the budget, state debt, accessibility to information on budget etc.
The webinar was accomplished with the interactive part with the participation of the First Deputy Finance Minister, Giorgi Kakauridze; Deputy Auditor General Ekaterine Gazadze; MP Alexander Rakviashvili; and the representatives of the local and international organizations.
The attendees heard the answers concerning the budgetary process.
