The Agrarian Issues, the EU Integration, and the Human Rights and Civil Integration Committees discussed the Draft State Budget 2023 introduced by the First Deputy Finance Minister, Giorgi Kakauridze.
According to him, the Environmental Ministry will have the budget increased by 688 ml GEL; Justice Ministry – increased by 369,4 ml GEL; the Office of the State Minister for Reconciliation – by 3,7 ml GEL; the Public Defender – by 9,3 ml GEL; Legal Aid Service – by 9,9 ml GEL; Personal Data Protection Service – by 4 ml GEL, and Special Investigation Service – by 17 ml GEL.
According to the Chair of the Agrarian Committee, Nino Tsilosani, the Committee welcomes the increased financing of the Environmental Ministry but there are projects and directions that require extra funds.
Providing the expressed remarks, the Committees approved the Draft State Budget 2023.
