Today, April 4th, a slight decrease in the US dollar rate was observed on the currency market in Armenia. The dollar rate amounted to 388.59 drams, which is 1.13 drams lower than the previous day.
At the same time, the euro rate has increased and reached 422.01 drams, rising by 2.05 drams. The British pound has also risen and now stands at 491.95 drams, increasing by 1.76 drams. However, the Russian ruble rate remained practically unchanged, decreasing by a negligible 0.01 drams to 4.22 drams.
In Armenian banks, the dollar is bought at a rate of 384-387 drams and sold at 390.5-394 drams. Euro at the same time is purchased at a rate of 412-417 drams and sold at 425-430 drams. The ruble is bought for 3.93-4.18 drams and sold for 4.24-4.45 drams.
In exchange offices, the dynamics of exchange rates are as follows: the dollar is bought for 388 drams, sold for 392 drams; euro is bought for 418-420 drams and sold for 425-427 drams; the ruble is purchased at a rate of 4.12-4.15 drams and sold for 4.22-4.23 drams.
Experts note that slight changes in exchange rates may be related to the current situation in the global markets and internal factors of the Armenian economy.
