"Inn Group" opened the first five-star hotel in Akhaltsikhe.
As the executive director of "Inn Group" Erekle Kokaia told BM.GE, the hotel mainly hosts foreigners.
"Akhaltsikhe is a specific place, where the majority of vacationers are foreigners, including Arabs, we are expecting vacationers from Israel as well. At this point, the only new market is China, and it seems quite reliable. Hopefully, we will add new markets," says Erekle Kokaia.
According to him, the hotel is not working at full capacity at this stage, because certain types of work are ongoing in the area.
"Only 70 rooms out of 115 are operating and we are not actively involved in sales at this stage. Some works are in progress and, therefore, the occupancy is relatively less, although the demand is quite high," says the executive director of "Inn Group".
As for the cost of accommodation in "Akhaltsikhe Inn", the price of one room amounts to $70: "This includes hotel accommodation, breakfast and spa services".
The investment cost of the 5-star hotel has not yet been fully calculated, because, according to Erekle Kokaia, the works are not finished.
