The first Georgian restaurant "Goby" has opened in Rotterdam. As the restaurant's co-founder Ani Macharashvili stated in the BMGTV program "Women's Narrative", the first Georgian restaurant in Rotterdam offers authentic Georgian cuisine to locals and visitors. It can host up to 50 people in total.

"Our goal is to introduce Georgian flavors to Rotterdam. Dutch guests especially like eggplant with walnuts, beans and pkhali, which are new to them," - Macharashvili noted.

According to him, the challenge is the specificity of local products and finding ingredients. That is why some products are imported from Poland, including Georgian lemonades. In the future, the restaurant plans to produce Imeretian cheese and sulguni itself.

"Goby" currently employs 10 people, representatives of different nationalities. Future plans include expanding the brand. In particular, the creation of Goby Express, a Georgian so-called street food format.
