The Union of Oil Products Importers reports, that the imports of motor oils and aviation oil increased in January-October.
According to the Union, in 10 months of 2023, the imports of lubricants were 19.50 thousand tons, which was 1.47 thousand tons or 8.2% more than the figure of the same period of the previous year (18.03 thousand tons).
During the 10 months of the current year, the largest volume of imports of lubricants came from Turkey - 4.18 thousand tons, which was 21.4% of all imports, followed by Iran - 3.49 thousand tons (17.9%); Germany - 2.41 thousand tons (12.4%), Azerbaijan - 1.39 tons (7.1%); and others.
As for the imports of aviation oil, in January-October 2023, 106.8 thousand tons of aviation oil entered the country, which was 1.4 thousand tons or 1.3% more than the indicator of the same period of 2022 (105.4 thousand tons).
Among them, during 10 months of the current year, 46.7% (49.9 thousand tons) of aviation oil imports were carried out from Turkmenistan, 21.6% (23.1 thousand tons) - from Azerbaijan; 12.1% (12.9 thousand tons) - from Greece, 9.6% (10.3 thousand tons) - from Turkey, 7.5% (8.0 thousand tons) - from Malta, 1.9% (2.0 thousand tons) - from Libya, 0.6% (0.6 thousand tons) - from Switzerland.
