The website EconoMood, specializing in economic news, has presented an infographic with labor market indicators in Armenia for April 2024.
In April 2024, the number of registered employees in Armenia reached 750,148, which is 4.8% more compared to the same period last year.
The average monthly nominal wage in April 2024 reached 273,243 drams (approximately $702), an increase of 6.8% compared to April last year. This growth is mainly due to an increase in wages in both the public sector (by 14.2%) and the non-public sector (by 4.5%).
It is also worth noting that in April 2024, the 12-month deflation in Armenia's consumer market was 0.7%, and inflation compared to the previous month was 0.6%.
