After the war in Ukraine, Russian citizens registered 21 300 companies in Georgia. Out of the mentioned number, the National Statistical Office of Georgia (GeoStat) has identified the area of activity only for 1,700 according to Transparency International Georgia.
According to information released by the TI Georgia on Friday, 82% of these 1,700 companies operate in the field of information technology.
“As for the remaining share, 4.9% of companies are in the field of design and advertising. 4.4% work in education, arts and entertainment, 3.3% are in the field of trade and production, and 5.3% of companies are representatives of various service industries,” TI Georgia reports.
