“The nurses' salaries cannot be reduced unequivocally”- the Minister of Health responded to the information regarding the salary reduction for nurses.
According to the Minister, the selective contracting with the clinics is based on the international norms that require certain personnel to be registered in hospitals.
“Therefore, I would recommend to all institutions not to try to optimize their costs at the expense of medical staff. We have repeatedly noted that Resolution 520 includes all the figures and scales of remuneration that existed prior to Resolution 520. We will strongly defend the interests of doctors and nurses”, Ekaterine Tikaradze said.
