On March 22, the minister of economy of Armenia Gevorg Papoyan met with the US ambassador to Armenia Kristina Kvien in his office, according to the ministry's press service.
During the meeting, Gevorg Papoyan briefly outlined the policies and priorities being implemented by the government in the field of the economy. He emphasized the importance of economic diversification and particularly highlighted the deepening of cooperation with the United States in this regard.
The parties discussed the outcomes of the latest meeting of the Trade and Investment Framework Agreement (TIFA) working group between Armenia and the United States, which took place in March, as well as steps to implement the agreements reached.
Special attention was paid to the discussion of the "America's Competitive Edge" (ACE) program, planned for implementation in Armenia in 2024.
Various aspects of Armenian-American cooperation were also addressed during the meeting.
