The first competition is for professional theaters, and the total budget of the grant competition is 200 thousand GEL. In this case, theatrical tours will not be announced. "Its purpose is to intensify creativity in professional theaters, and this project will be funded for staging or other expenses," the minister explained.
The second competition is to promote classical music and folklore in the regions. Tour expenses will be financed, and the total budget is 700 thousand GEL.
The main goal of the third competition is to provide finances for staging and touring by professional theaters in the field so that the theaters can have more trips to the regions and create a new repertoire. The budget of the competition is 150 thousand GEL.
The budget of the fourth competition is 200 thousand GEL and refers to the theaters in the capital. "Everyone can submit a project for financing, and their touring expenses will be financed," Tea Tsulukiani explained.
The total budget of the fifth competition is 90 thousand GEL and refers to individual creative projects for the regions, including the occupation line.
According to the Minister of Culture, the documents for the competitions will be accepted until June 30.
