The National Competition Agency of Georgia started the process of investigation based on the complaint of "E-tickets against the five undertaking ". The case concerns the fact of a possible violation of the Law of Georgia on Competition in the market of online sale of cinema tickets.
An investigation has been launched in 2 directions, the possible violation of Article 6 (abuse of a dominant position) and Article 7 (restrictive agreements).
The National Competition Agency is is considering the investigation of 4 cases - alleged cases of concerted action, abuse of a dominant position, unfair competition, and restriction of competition by an administrative agency - in the sectors of auto fuel, tobacco, marine transport and supervision of municipal projects. In 2023, the Agency completed one investigation and established the fact of restriction of competition by the administrative agency.
