In August 2025, the number of persons receiving a monthly salary stood at 939,898, which was 5.7% lower than in July 2025 and 2.6% higher than in August 2024, - according to the report published by PMC Research Centre.
The share of persons receiving a monthly salary up to 600 GEL amounted to 13.5%, which was 1.5 percentage points higher than in July 2025 and 2.7 points lower than in August 2024.
The share of persons receiving a monthly salary of 2,400 GEL or more amounted to 33.1%, which was 3.1 points lower than in July 2025 and 4.1 points higher than in August 2024.
The share of persons receiving a monthly salary of 9,600 GEL or more amounted to 3.0%, which was 0.1 points lower than in July 2025 and 0.4 points higher than in August 2024.
