The National Tourism Administration reports, that 938,644 tourist visits took place in Georgia in the first quarter of 2024, the increase compared to 2023 is +11%, and compared to the data of 2019, the increase is +6.4%.
According to them, the number of international travelers reached 1.3 million in the January-March period, an increase of +7.6% compared to the same period last year, which is an 80.4% recovery of the 2019 figure.
"The number of international travelers and international tourist visits is calculated according to the methodology developed according to the recommendation of the World Tourism Organization and includes already completed visits," reads the information.
