The 2025 budget for the parliament was approved at the plenary session on Wednesday.
The budget for the Parliament of the new convocation will be increased by more than GEL 15.5 million.
According to the state budget 2024, the financing of the Parliament in the legislative activity section is determined at GEL 71,801.8. According to the approved budget, it will be GEL 87,262.00 from 2025.
As the ruling team explains, the increase in Parliament's allocations was largely due to the increase in the salaries of MPs, the decision on which will come into force in 2025.
