The tender of the Public Defender's Office for the construction of a new building has been published on the website of the State Procurement Agency. The estimated cost is 9.1 million GEL.
The new office of the Public Defender will be built on Faava Street in Tbilisi in an area of 2,123 square meters. The land was transferred to the Public Defender's Office in March 2019.
Receipt of bids from construction companies in the tender will start on July 14 and end on July 19.
The Office of the Public Defender was located in the damaged building at Nino Ramishvili N6 in Tbilisi until July 2018. The Office of the Public Defender then moved to the rented space at N150 Agmashenebeli Avenue.
