Tbilisi Energy reports that work on the damaged central main continued throughout the night, and the 500 mm pipe has already been restored.
“The second and most challenging phase of gas supply restoration has begun, with our teams fully mobilized,” the company stated.
Due to the accident, gas supply was disrupted for approximately 150,000 subscribers. The phased restoration process is now underway.
This process requires time and caution. Please ensure that gas taps are closed and not left open. Subscribers will receive SMS updates regarding the restoration progress.
Tbilisi Energy apologizes for the inconvenience caused by circumstances beyond its control.
“Gas supply restoration is in progress and will be completed in stages by the end of the day on February 11,” the company confirmed.
