The Shota Rustaveli State University of Theatre and Film has not yet issued a rector's order regarding the termination of student status, the university stated in an official announcement.
According to the statement, students have the right to appeal the Ethics Commission's decision.
"Due to the high public interest regarding the decision made by the Ethics Commission on March 7, we find it necessary to clarify: the rector has not yet issued an order on the termination of student status.
Students have the right to appeal the Ethics Commission's decision and submit a written request to the rector within three working days. The rector has one month to review each student's case and make a final decision," the statement reads.
It is worth noting that some students of the Theatre and Film University have reported that their student status was terminated due to their participation in the protest. One of the students shared this information on social media.
"Today, some of the protesting students received an email from the university administration stating that our student status has been revoked," the student wrote on social media.
