In 2024, over 2.2 million tourists visited Armenia, reflecting a 5.1% decrease, or 120,000 fewer visitors, compared to 2023, according to the country's Tourism Committee.
In December 2024, the country was visited by 130,148 tourists, slightly lower than the 132,709 visits recorded in December 2023.
According to official statistics, the largest share of tourists in December 2024 were Russian citizens, accounting for 43.1% of the total. Tourists from Georgia ranked second (13%), followed by visitors from Iran in third place (8.4%).
