n March 2024, individuals received money transfers totaling over $443.5 million through commercial banks in Armenia. This figure was 8.1% lower than in the same month of the previous year.
According to the Central Bank of Armenia, during the period under review, the volume of money transfers to the country increased by 8% compared to the previous month.
However, during the same period, the outflow of money transfers by individuals through commercial banks in Armenia amounted to over $318.8 million. This figure increased by 10.1% compared to the previous month but decreased by 26.1% compared to March of the previous year.
The net inflow of money transfers to Armenia, which shows the difference between inflow and outflow, amounted to $124.7 million in March 2024, which is 3% higher than the previous month.
