The National Bank publishes data on the current trends of deposits for the month of November.
The total volume of non-bank deposits in the country′ s banking sector increased by 1.17% or by GEL581.85 million (exchange rate effect excluded volume of deposits increased by 0.60%), compared to the end of October 2023 and constituted 50.42 billion GEL by the end of November 2023.
In November, the volume of term deposits increased by 27.80 million GEL (by 0.14%; exchange rate effect excluded volume of term deposits decreased by 0.21%). Demand deposits increased by 554.05 million GEL (by 1.86%; exchange rate effect excluded volume of demand deposits increased by 1.14%).
The larization ratio of total non-bank deposits constituted 49.25% by the end of November 2023 and decreased by 0.42 percentage point (exchange rate effect excluded by 0.15 percentage point) compared to the end of October 2023.
