There is significant interest in tours from Russia to Georgia, according to Gela Jishkariani, founder of the passenger transportation company Buslines, who spoke to BM.GE.
He says that due to growing demand, the company plans to introduce new tour packages specifically for passengers arriving from Russia.
“We will organize tours starting from Batumi and continuing toward Kakheti. We plan to stimulate domestic tourism, including culinary tours and pilgrim groups who wish to visit our holy sites. We serve guests from both Russia and Belarus. There is also interest from these countries in holding camps and sports competitions in Georgia,” Jishkariani noted.
Regarding demand from Georgia to Russia, Buslines also facilitates travel for Georgian creative groups, singers, and commercial organizations visiting Russia.
The company has been operating for six years and provides routes to Russia and Turkey. In the case of Russia, its services include routes to Moscow–Ivanovo and St. Petersburg.
