Davit Iosava, General Director of E-space, states that there is no longer a problem with electric car chargers in the country. As he told TV-pogram "Business Course", 50 chargers have been installed at this stage.
"The number of electric car chargers is increasing due to interest. We have several partners, about 50 chargers have been installed. Companies have purchased and installed the devices themselves. We are in talks to install chargers throughout Georgia this year as well", Iosava said, however refrained from naming the places, where electric vehicle chargers will be installed.
As Davit Iosava noted, the infrastructure problem does not lie in the regions. According to him, the only region where there is no fast charger is Kakheti.
"There was no interest because it is a short distance from Kakheti and it is not interesting for private companies. 80% of consumers in the country charge their cars in their garages. When they move from Tbilisi, for example, to Bakuriani, Batumi, or any other direction, the number of chargers is so great that they no longer have a problem", - Davit Iosava declares.
