There will be a boom of high-level performers in Georgia - we expect both direct and indirect incomes, maybe at least GEL 100 million, in addition to raising the country's awareness and prestige, Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili said at today's government meeting.

According to him, Georgia has made serious progress in the direction of tourism and more efforts are needed in this regard.

“The management of the Black Sea Arena has worked very well. They presented a concrete plan. There will be a boom in high-level performers. It was said that GEL 70 million is being spent on these concerts. This may be a budget, but we expect both direct and indirect income from this. It can be at least GEL 100 million. In addition to this, we expect that the country's popularity and prestige will be raised. We will continue this. Young people, listeners will hear other news too and I think it will be a very successful season. We have made serious progress in tourism. Last year we had quite a successful year - we had more than 5 million visitors. We need to work more in this direction", said the Prime Minister.
