Foreign direct investment (FDI) of USD 1 billion 072 million was made in Georgia in 1Q2023. In the first half of this year, USD 413.1 million out of the FDI invested in the country's economy accounted for the chartered capital, while USD 613.1 million - for reinvestment.
According to official statistics, the volume of direct foreign investments exceeds the figure of the first 6 months of last year by 16.2%.
BM.GE requested information from the National Statistics Office of Georgia (NBG) about the companies with the most investments during the first 6 months of the current year.
