The one-week visit of Christian Danielsson, personal Envoy of President of the European Council Charles Michel, ended in vain. Danielsson left Georgia. After the failure of the ongoing negotiations between the opposition parties and the government, the opposition announced an action plan yesterday. The opposition side will go into emergency mode. According to the opposition leaders, they will gather again on May 15 on Rustaveli Avenue. The political crisis continues in Georgia.

Positive steps are not observed in the country's economy either. Some of the restrictions imposed due to the pandemic are still in force, including the "curfew". The business is demanding lifting of curfew, but to no avail.

COVID-19 vaccination rollout was not successful yet. The process has become more complicated after the accident in Akhaltsikhe; while the most important is keeping the rapid pace of vaccination, otherwise, the country will not be able to return to normal life for a long time. Restrictions and another "lockdown" will be difficult to overcome for Georgia, which is already in a deep economic crisis.
