BM.ge requested a list from Geostat of the top 10 investors with the largest amount of FDIs in the third quarter of 2018 in Georgia. *The enterprises are not arranged numerically according to their rating. TOP 10 investment companies, in no particular order, are: JSC Telasi; BP Group; IDS Borjomi Georgia, Georgia Branch of IDS Borjomi Beverages Companies LLC; MagtiCom Ltd. JSC Energo-pro Georgia;
JSC RMG Copper; Georgian Manganese Holding; Georgian Tourism Development Fund JSC Nenskra Hydro; Atlantic Georgia Ltd. For reference: in the third quarter of 2018 the total foreign direct investments in Georgia amounted to 322 million USD, which amounts to 48% less than the same period last year. According to GeoStat, the reasons behind this fall include: the completion of the phase of the construction of the main gas pipeline project, the transfer of the ownership of several enterprises to Georgian residents, and the reduction of responsibilities towards non-resident direct investors.
