Pursuant to the latest data of the National Statistics Office of Georgia (GeoStat) annual inflation in Georgia on July 2022 amounted to 11.5%.
BMG had a look at top ten products that were the most impacted by inflation in July 2022 as compared to the same period of the prior-year.
1. Notary fee – growth by 95.6%;
2. Corn flour - 64.0%;
3. Tomato - 61.4%;
4. Diesel fuel - 61.0%;
5. Grapes - 57.0%;
6. Making of copies – 50.3%;
7. Watermelon- 47.8%;
8. Margarine - 47.7%;
9. Onion - 45.7%;
10. Tangerine - 44.7%.
In the meantime, below are ten products that were the least impacted by inflation in July 2022 as compared to the same period of the previous year.
1. Cabbage - price drop by 32.6%;
2. Cucumber - 31.7%;
3. Pepper - 28.1%;
4. Beet - 22.4%;
5. Male’s trousers - 22.0%;
6. Potato - 19.7%;
7. Eggplant - 17.6%;
8. Computer - 17.3%;
9. Pear - 16.1%;
10. Women’s skirt - 15.9%.
