The National Tourism Administration will spend 18.4 million GEL to hire additional quarantine zones at the hotels.
So far, the Georgian government has spent 84.9 million GEL on renting hotels for quarantine, and as a result of the new acquisition, its value will reach 103.3 million GEL.
Yesterday, Acting Minister of Economy Natia Turnava said that the government has contracts with a total of 215 hotels and 133 thousand people have gone mandatory quarantined so far.
According to the criteria set by the government, renting a hotel room for one day costs a maximum of 100 GEL.
