The Georgian National Tourism Administration on Wednesday said the country had hosted almost six million international travellers in the first nine months of the year, marking a 4.1 percent year-on-year increase.
Additionally, 3.99 million international tourists visits took place in the country during the reporting period, reflecting a 9.2 percent increase from the previous year.
The GNTA said the growth trend continued into the third quarter of the year, with 2.77 million international travellers visiting in a 2.5 percent increase from the same period in 2023.
The number of international tourist visits during this quarter amounted to 1.86 million, signifying an 8.3 percent increase compared to the previous year.
