Vakhushti Menabde, the founder of the ethnographic-style small hotel "Menabdes Winery" operating in the village of Shemokmedi, Ozurgeti municipality, talks to BM.GE about the hotel load.
According to him, tourist season is not loaded in Guria, but it is worth noting that Georgian and foreign guests visit their 8-room hotel in equal numbers.
"Tourist season is not loaded in Guria. The workload is seasonal. Georgian and foreign guests visit us in equal numbers. Of course, we are very happy for all guests, but especially Georgian guests.
One night's accommodation in a tourist facility with breakfast ranges from 200-250 GEL", Menabde says.
The hotel, which hosts both local and foreign tourists, is planning to build a cellar, which will expand its wine production capabilities. After the completion of the construction of the cellar, depending on the demand, the complex will be ready to host small group tours.
