Georgian National Tourism Administration reports that 498,477 international travelers visited Georgia in October, the increase was 125.9% compared to the same period of the previous year, while the number of international travelers has increased by 63.7% compared to the same period of 2019.
In October 2022, 344,595 international tourist visits took place in the country, the increase was 82.6% compared to the same period of 2021. However, international tourist visits have recovered by 78.5% compared to 2019.
In 10M2022, 4,391,082 international travelers visited Georgia, compared to the same period of 2021, the increase was 188.5%. Compared to the data of January-October 2019, the recovery rate of visits by international travelers amounted to 54.8%.
As of the administration, in 10 months of 2022, 3,048,728 international tourist visits took place in Georgia, compared to the period of January-October 2021, the increase was 137.9%. Compared to the same period of 2019, the recovery rate of international tourist visits amounted to 68.8%.
