Tourists From EU Think Georgia Is Not A Safe Country - "Wine Yard N1"

The founder of "Wine Yard N1" Tika Ugashvili considers that Georgia's tourism reputation should be improved. She notes that Georgia is not perceived as a safe country for European tourists, on whom the country should focus.

"It is necessary for Georgia to maintain the reputation of a safe country. Tourists from European countries think Georgia is not a safe country. Extensive campaigns must be conducted in this direction so that we are safe," says Tika Ugashvili, the founder of "Wine Yard N1".

In 1Q2023, 845,332 international visitors visited Georgia, which was 84% more than the previous year. According to the visits made by visitors, Russia is on the first place (256,787 visitors), followed by Turkey - (216,391 visitors), and Armenia - (182,543 visitors).
