Toyota Prius remained the most popular car model in Georgia in 2025, according to the latest data from Geostat’s vehicle registry. The model continues to dominate with 51,112 registered units, followed by Opel Astra and Ford Transit. Toyota Camry also appears in the ranking, taking sixth place, with Toyota registrations increasing compared to 2024.
Geostat’s data shows that most Toyota Prius vehicles in Georgia are older models: 12.4% were produced in 2012, 11.2% in 2013, and 10.9% in 2010. Only three units from the 2025 production year are registered in the country, while four Prius vehicles from 1998 are still in use.

By the end of 2025, Georgia had 1,914,908 registered vehicles, nearly half of them in Tbilisi. Total registrations grew 6.9% year-on-year, adding 124,321 vehicles. Passenger cars remain dominant with 1.65 million units, and 80.4% of all vehicles in the country are more than 10 years old.
