Trade turnover between Armenia and China reached $1.4 billion in the first six months of 2024, according to China's Acting Charge d'Affaires in Armenia, Min Chen.

"For the first six months of this year, the volume of bilateral trade exceeded $1.4 billion, an increase of 41.9 percent," said Chen.

He emphasized that China is one of Armenia's key partners. The diplomat highlighted the cooperation between the two countries in projects such as the construction of the North-South Highway, the modernization of solar power plants, and the operation of a rubber plant.

Chen also announced that direct flights from China to Armenia will begin in September, further strengthening bilateral relations. It is worth noting that 20,000 tourists from China visited Armenia last year.
