According to the Armenian Ministry of Economy, trade turnover between Armenia and the United Arab Emirates exceeded $4.2 billion.
This information was disclosed during a meeting between the Secretary General of the Ministry, Haykaz Nasibyan, and the Secretary General of the UAE Federation of Chambers of Commerce, Humaid bin Salem, at the second Armenia-UAE business forum held on October 9.
According to the Armenian Statistical Committee, in the first eight months of 2024, foreign trade turnover between Armenia and the UAE reached $4.35 billion, a 6.8-fold increase compared to the same period of the previous year.
Armenian exports to the UAE in January-August 2024 amounted to $4.31 billion, showing a 7.3-fold growth. Meanwhile, imports from the UAE to Armenia during the same period totaled $304.9 million, reflecting a 23% decrease.
