Starting June 28, vehicular traffic will be partially restricted on several streets in Tbilisi due to infrastructure work, according to an announcement from Tbilisi City Hall.
The municipality reports that construction will begin on a new transport junction at the intersection of Noe Zhordania Embankment and Kosta Khetagurov Street. As a result, vehicular traffic will be partially restricted from 00:00 hours on June 28 through the end of July this year.
Additionally, complete rehabilitation work will commence on the Ortachala HPP Bridge over the Mtkvari River. Due to the planned infrastructure work, vehicular traffic will be partially restricted for four months starting from 00:00 hours on June 28 this year. During the period, vehicles will only be able to use two lanes of the bridge for bidirectional traffic, according to the information released by the municipality.
