"Transparency International-Georgia" will observe the October 26 parliamentary elections.
"Transparency International-Georgia" disseminates information about this on Facebook.
"On October 4, the Anti-Corruption Bureau officially informed us that its head, Razhden Kuprashvili, revoked the decision to grant special status to "Transparency International - Georgia" and its executive director Eka Gigauri. Accordingly, the status of the organization and its director was removed, which prevented the observation of the elections.
With this decision, all the obligations that were illegally imposed on us due to our special status were cancelled.
After withdrawing the illegal decision, we continue to observe the October 26 parliamentary elections on behalf of "Transparency International-Georgia", - it is noted in the information.
