Georgian barbecue chain Tsetskhli Ainto is planning to expand internationally, with the United States identified as its first target export market, according to co-founder Giorgi Akhsabadze.
Speaking to BMGTV, Akhsabadze said the company believes its products have strong international potential and sees the U.S. as an attractive market due to its size and growth opportunities. He noted that the initial focus will be on building brand recognition and positioning rather than rapid expansion.
"We are planning to develop our export direction. We believe our products have potential everywhere, but at this stage we are focused on the U.S. market. It is an incredibly large market, while Georgia is relatively small. Our goal is to establish and position the brand there," Akhsabadze said.
Tsetskhli Ainto currently operates two fast-food restaurants in Tbilisi, located on Abashidze Street in Vake and Tashkenti Street in Saburtalo. The chain specializes in traditional Georgian barbecue, offering Kakhetian-style, classic, and chicken barbecue.
