The latest sparkling wine "Tsiali", which appeared on the market only a few months ago, will be exported to European and Asian countries this year.
Sparkling wine, produced by the winery "Peradi Gradusi", is made from Rkatsiteli and Saperavi. "Tsiali" is its latest product, the inspiration for its name, structure, taste properties and sparkling effect is connected to the northern glow.
As the founder of the company, Tata Sauri, told BM.GE, negotiations with large exporters are moving from the active phase to the final stage. Therefore, it is likely that the wine will be sold in European and Asian countries from this year.
According to her, the company made 5,000 bottles of wine in the first stage. However, due to the high demand from both the local and exporting markets, it is planned to diversify the product volumes and assortment. More specifically, the company is working on the production of two new colored wines and sparkling drinks.
"At this stage, our products are sold both online and in several wine shops, and their price is GEL 45 on average. However, this year, it is planned to expand the sales area in the local market, and the company is negotiating with branded wine boutiques and the HoReCa sector.
There is a great demand from the exporting markets, therefore, after the development of exports, we plan to increase production by almost 100%. 60% of the produced products will be exported, while 40% will be sold in the local market," Sauri says.
As for the process of making new sparkling wine, the wine is produced in one of the branded enterprises in Kakheti. The company buys grapes from local farmers.
In the future, after the development of exports, the family winery "Peradi Gradusi" plans to build its own enterprise, although the amount of investment is not known at this stage.
"Peradi Gradusi" winery has been operating on the market since 2019, and its production is fully focused on the creation of colored wines.
