Tskaltubo cannot be the second Baden-Baden, it must be Tskaltubo, - this is how businessman Temur Chkhonia responded to the investment project "New Life To Tskaltubo" presented by the Government of Georgia.
The businessman states that the resort is not of his interest.
"When the government does something with such fanfare, it reminds me of communist remnants. As soon as I see this pomp, I lose all interest and I don't want to get involved in an ideology that I never liked. It is possible that Tskaltubo has a great perspective, but when you talk about it becoming Baden-Baden, it is already a mistake, because Baden-Baden is Baden-Baden and Tskaltubo should be Tskaltubo. Baden-Baden cannot be Tskaltubo and vice versa. When you say that it is the second Baden-Baden, it is already a mistake, we should say that it is Tskaltubo.
We don't need to change anything, we need to be our own identity and not someone else. We are always begging someone or waiting for someone. When we say that it should be the second, you are already the second, so it is better to say Tskaltubo is the first and Baden-Baden is the first as well," Chkhonia said.
