In 2026, PEGAS Touristik Georgia has added Tunisia to its list of travel destinations, according to the company’s director, Salome Beraia.
In December, Beraia visited Tunisia with Turkish Airlines alongside 11 travel agencies to explore the country’s tourism potential. She noted that Tunisia is unique, blending African, Asian, and European influences, and offers visitors diverse experiences beyond hotel stays, including cultural attractions and sightseeing.
The tourism season in Tunisia runs from April to late November, and PEGAS Touristik plans to begin sales at the end of January. Tours will include all-inclusive hotels, Turkish Airlines flights, transfers, insurance, and excursions to major attractions. Beraia highlighted Tunisia’s unique beaches, desert oases, and other activities, positioning it as an alternative to popular destinations like Egypt.
Regarding Thailand, a recently added destination, Beraia stated that interest is growing but flight costs remain high, limiting demand mostly to group tours. She expects Thailand to become as popular as other traditional destinations within 2–3 years.
