The lawyer of businessman Ucha Mamatsashvili, Amiran Giguashvili, issues a statement calling on "National Movement" MP, Ana Tsitlidze, to refrain from spreading lies and respect the legal decision adopted by the court, which confirms that Ucha Mamatsashvili is not related with the so-called call centers' case.

"We understand that after the story on BBC, not only the Georgian society, but also our European friends saw who really stands behind the so-called call centers, Mr. Kezerashvili is trying to shift the focus to others through his hired spokespeople, but it is completely unheard case, that Bidzina Ivanishvili and Ucha Mamatsashvili are accused in patronizing the so-called call centers. This is a new level of lies because until now they had the sense not to associate the name of Mr. Bidzina Ivanishvili with this madness. It seems that the truth is so much acute that they have completely lost their adequacy."

Amiran Giguashvili calls on MP Ana Tsitlidze to respect the law and take into account that the dispute ended just a few months ago, in which the courts of all three instances considered the statements of representatives of the anti-corruption movement against Ucha Mamatsashvili as defamation, regarding patronage of call centers.

"As Mr. Ucha Mamatsashvili's lawyer, I call on Mrs. Ana Tsitlidze to respect the law and take into account that the dispute ended just a few months ago, where all three courts of instance confirmed that Mr. Ucha Mamatsashvili has no contact with call centers, and a targeted defamation campaign planned by the pseudo-non-governmental organization "Anti-Corruption Movement" took place against him. This decision has entered into legal force, and we are waiting for the writ of execution so that the spokesmen of the anti-corruption movement, who actually always represented the National Movement, to admit that their statements were lies and slander. I also call on the representatives of the anti-corruption movement to voluntarily transfer GEL 15,000 charged in favor of Mr. Ucha Mamatsashvili to the old people's shelter, as we indicated during the court proceedings."

The statement of Ana Tsitlidze, deputy of the "National Movement", was published today, in which she announced the so-called Bidzina Ivanishvili and Ucha Mamatsashvili were accused of patronizing call centers. The lawsuit of businessman Ucha Mamatsashvili was being discussed in the Tbilisi City Court for several months, in which he demanded from the representatives of the anti-corruption movement, Vaso Urushadze and Lasha Parulava, the denial of defamatory accusations against him and compensation for moral damages. According to the court's decision, all the accusations against Ucha Mamatsashvili were recognized as defamation, and GEL 5000 was imposed on each defendant as compensation for moral damage. The said decision of the court was appealed by the members of the anti-corruption movement, however, the appellate and supreme courts upheld the decision in favor of Ucha Mamatsashvili.
