Ukraine, Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Moldova will create a free trade zone.
In New York, after the ministerial meeting of the Organization for Democracy and Economic Development (GUAM), the foreign ministers of Georgia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, and Moldova signed a protocol on determining the country of origin of goods, which will allow the creation of a free trade zone between the GUAM countries, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine reported.
The ministers also concentrated on steps to strengthen cooperation within the GUAM framework, particularly in the fields of trade, energy, and transport infrastructure development. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba invited Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Moldova to participate in the reconstruction of Ukrainian regions affected by the war.
