On November 7, with the support of "Care Caucasus", Ukrainian confectionery Future Baker, was opened in Tbilisi. Ketevan Khachidze, executive director of the organization Care Caucasus, spoke about the details in TV-program "Women's Narrative".

"The event emphasized the role of women in the world of business and the importance of supporting Ukrainian businesses in Georgia. "Care Caucasus" financed Aliona Ostapchuk with about USD 5,000 for the creation of a pastry shop, and that's how her idea turned into a business," said Ketevan Khachidze.

Future Baker is located in the Saburtalo District. At this stage, the pastry shop offers a variety of Kyiv cakes and pastries. However, in addition to confectionery products, the founder of the brand also offers master classes to Ukrainian and Georgian women, and plans to offer courses for adults in the future.

"The business initiative is supported within the framework of the project "Supporting Ukrainian refugees to meet their humanitarian needs". The program includes educational and training courses, within the framework of which Ukrainians are introduced to writing business projects, budgeting, legal issues and marketing," said Ketevan Khachidze.

According to her, in order to participate in this program, a person needs to be a citizen of Ukraine and to have arrived in Georgia after the Ukrainian war. Must have a good business idea and plan to stay in Georgia for a long time to make the business sustainable.

Care Caucasus launched this project in August. With the support of the program, over 35 Ukrainian businesses are started in different big cities of Georgia with an investment of more than GEL 500,000. First of all, it will contribute to the economic stability of Ukrainian citizens in Georgia and their integration into the Georgian society.
