The International Republican Institute (IRI) publishes the results new nationwide poll conducted in Georgia. The poll shows, 27% of the surveyed population believe that the primary problem is unemployment. 15% say inflation is the main challenge. Infrastructure and water-related problems are mentioned by 23% of the population.
Among the main problems cited by the remaining percentage of respondents are poverty, education and issues related to agriculture.
The fieldwork was carried out by the Institute of Polling & Marketing. Data was collected throughout Georgia between September 13 and October 2, 2022, through face-to-face. computer-assisted personal interviewing (CAPI) in respondents’ homes. The sample consisted of 1,500 permanent residents of Georgia aged 18 and older and eligible to vote. It is representative of the general population by age, gender, region and settlement size.
