"Until about 30% of the population is vaccinated, face masks will remain the main weapon in the fight against the covid-pandemic," NCDC head Amiran Gamkrelidze said at a briefing today.
He once again called on the citizens to follow the regulations and to wear a face mask in closed spaces, transport, and bus stop.
As for vaccination, Amiran Gamkrelidze said that many vaccines will enter the country in the first ten days of July, and "we must seriously increase the daily vaccination rate."
