By the initiative of the Georgian Wine Association, the wine tourism guide was first created in Georgia, which guide will help tourists to easily find an interesting direction and visit a wine cellar, restaurant or a hotel.
As the communications and business development manager of the Association stated to BM.ge, the guide brings together up to 300 wine cellars all over the country, as well as guest-houses, wine bars and museums.
According to Tata Jaiani, a special application will help a tourist to easily link to Google Map and visit the direction, which is interesting. and English-language guide is sold in bookstores in Georgia and in England.
As notes Jaiani, sales of the guide is not big so far, however, tourists show interest towards it.
“We haven’t yet taken relevant marketing measures. We applied to the National Tourist Association, however, regrettably, they haven’t shown any interest,” – states Jaiani.
